Direct Mine Source – Facetted Natural Pink Topaz from the topaz from the Solar Wind Mine, Juab Co. Utah when extracted is a peach color it is naturally pink after sun fade and is permanent. Exposed crystals found on the surface are pink and stable colored. The pink color of topaz is often influenced by impurities or trace elements present in the crystal structure. Pink Topaz from the Solar Wind Mine is caused by trace amounts of manganese in the crystal structure. Pink topaz is considered one of the rarer and more valuable colors of topaz. The deepness of pink color will vary based upon the amount of manganese in the crystals. These facetted stones are calibrated stones from 2.0 mm – 7.0 mm. And 0.04ct – 1.70ct. Topaz is November Birthstone – Utah State Gem – Texas State Gem.
